As shown in the email chain below, we conversed with Judy on 6/29/20 and requested an extension of time on 12/28/20. Work from June 2020 to this fall included meetings onsite with DWR, obtaining the AJD from the COE (approved 5/24/21) and DWR Buffer Determination (completed in August but letter issued 10/7/21). Bill Lane had to work with DWR/COE about unresolved issues on other sites before they would proceed with the sand pit site. It is our understanding that all three comments have now been addressed: 1. Green card/Certified mail receipts were received, per your email confirmation dated 6/5/20. 2. Lane Farms has received the attached AJD from the COE confirming that there are no wetlands at the site of the proposed sand pit. 3. N/A per AJD. DWR has completed the stream determination. We are awaiting a signatures from the COE for the wetland delineation. Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Judy- Your comments letter dated 4/22/20 requested additional information about wetlands. Per the comments we have added the wetlands information from the USFWS National Wetlands Inventory, which shows that the wetlands are located in wooded areas. The open areas are currently being used for agriculture (ie, no wetlands in existing fields). To ensure that there is a minimum 50' buffer from the wetlands, the revised plan attached shows a 50' non -disturb buffer between the woods and the permit boundary. As such, we have revised the permit boundary and decreased the proposed permit area to 56.25 ac. The owner does not want to impact any wetlands. We can revise the permit application documents if the attached is acceptable. Are the attached plans with revised permit boundary and clearances from woods/wetland areas acceptable?
