Are there any additional comments on this additional information? Our program needs to make a
decision on this permit or we need to ask for more information.

Subject: 16-83 - Thomas Borrow Pit - ADI
All,
We have received a response from the applicant at the Thomas Borrow Pit (#16-83) on the
additional information request. They have provided an estimate of what is actually being discharged
rather than what is being pumped. They've also provided responses to the questions about
absorption into the soil and alternatives.
Please let me know if you have any additional comments on this site that is seeking to discharge
mine dewatering. A hard copy of this letter has been sent to the Wilmington Regional Office.
Thanks,
