Carolina Lithium Project Extension Request for Response to Additional Information Request, dated January 14, 2022 Dear Mr. Miller: Piedmont Lithium Carolinas, Inc. (PLCI) has been working diligently to provide a detailed response to the Additional Information Request dated January 14, 2022. As required by 15A NCAC 5B.0113, we were given 180 days from the date of receipt of the request for additional information (January 14, 2022) to submit all of the requested information. As of date of this letter, we are not able to complete all requests for information due to lab result delays of our Leaching Environmental Assessment Framework (LEAF) testing and wastewater analysis of our potential wastewater streams. Due to the above -mentioned delays, we would like to request an extension of up to 6 months on our response to the Additional information Request dated January 14, 2022. This extension will allow us time to receive the lab results, analyze the data, and provide detailed response to the request for information.
