Extension Request for Response to Additional Information Request, dated
January 14, 2022
Dear Mr. Miller:
Piedmont Lithium Carolinas, Inc. (PLCI) has been working diligently to provide a detailed response
to the Additional Information Request dated January 14, 2022. As required by 15A NCAC 5B.0113,
we were given 180 days from the date of receipt of the request for additional information (January
14, 2022) to submit all of the requested information. As of date of this letter, we are not able to
complete all requests for information due to lab result delays of our Leaching Environmental
Assessment Framework (LEAF) testing and wastewater analysis of our potential wastewater
streams.
Due to the above -mentioned delays, we would like to request an extension of up to 6 months on
our response to the Additional information Request dated January 14, 2022. This extension will
allow us time to receive the lab results, analyze the data, and provide detailed response to the
request for information.
Should you have any questions or need further details of our request, please contact either Patrick
Brindle at (412) 818-0376 or pbrindle(dpiedmontlithium.com or Monique Parker at (704) 813-2301
or mparker(a)piedmontlithium.com.
Yours truly,
