Dear Adam,
Per our conversation, please find attached a copy of the inspection report with pictures for
the Gulf Mine No 3/permit 19-11, Chatham County. I have recommended removal of waste
oil or solvent containers and drums along with other debris, including old tires and machinery.
In so much as there is no off -site sediment damage and the site will not be released, no slope
grading has been required. I did note soil staining in the vicinity of the abandoned trailer
along with a strong petroleum smell. Affected soils will need to be addressed.
This inspection was done in conjunction with the mine transfer request package. No further
comments are provided.
