Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam.<mailto:report.spamnnc.gov> To whom it may concern: What did the people of Lenoir do to deserve such bounty? First the county shoves a "mountain" of trash - from God knows where - down the community's throats. Now Abbington Rd. Is a 24/7 trash hole and loaded with huge vehicles that stray over the driving lines constantly. Now, the elected officials think a clay mining operation just up the street is a great idea? Once the clay for the county (that is really what this is about, correct?) is used, the pit will be abandoned and the mess will remain. More huge trucks. More mess for the residents of Lenoir. Seriously, how could any commissioner vote to approve this? The people of that valley have already been treated horribly. I live in the Coves and close enough to be concerned as well. Please reconsider this mining operation and buy the county's clay for the "trash mountain" somewhere else. How about one of the neighboring communities whose trash we take gets the mine and shares their clay with Caldwell county. Brian Flook
