I am writing to you on behalf of Roy Lee Etheridge, Jr., owner and operator of Lee Septic & Land, Kitty Hawk, NC in Currituck
County, owner of mining permit #27-44. This letter is to confirm that the affected acreage of 17.29 acres shown on the attached
revised mine and reclamation maps is correct for the current transfer application. The previous acreage number of 16.59 acres on
the initial application and mine maps was incorrectly calculated. Improved mapping techniques are now giving a corrected bonded
