It is ain unexpected and Ibeautifull part of our growing Tidainglle area. Few other uirbain areas have such a vaIluable IpubBlic resource so inear Ipopullation centers. l have always wondered why a quarry was allowed to Ibe develloped so inear uirbain areas, Ibut l assumed it was (because our area didin't used to Ibe so uirbain. Now that corporate and government liinteirests seems to Ibe c6llu6ing liin a very sketchy way to push through ainotheir quarry, l cain see that putting imoiney liin the Ipoclkets of corporations seems to Ibe the sole imotive. This Ilaind is too vaIluable and rare to Ibe wasted oin a quarry, espec4lHy whein the corporation liinvollved liin the oiriigliinall quarry is going Ibaclk oin it's word to inot expaind. The IpulbBlic liinterest is defiinlltelly NOT Ibelling served with the (proposed uses of this Ilaind. It should Ibe Ipreseirved for future generations to einjoy liinstead of(belling strllpped and gutted for the Ibeinefit of a rich few. Rlease do the right thing and (protect this Ilaind.
