I am a concerned property owner in this area.
This permit will affect my water supply.
My water supply is located less than 100ft from the blasting area.

RE: Waycaster Stone Co, Inc / Surface Mining Permit
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter to express concern about a pending mining permit.
Kenneth Waycaster of Waycaster Stone Co, Inc has applied for a new surface
mining permit on a lot that adjoins property where my water supply comes from.
There are three natural springs on the lot and these springs supply water to 12-15
families. The property line is within 100 ft of these natural springs.
Waycaster Stone has already conducted unpermitted exploration greater
than 1 acre on this tract with no regard for sediment control or environmental
impact.
The springs have supplied water to the families in this area for more than 50
years. It is my grave concern that if granted the mining permit, Waycaster Stone
Co. Inc, will negatively impact or even destroy this much needed natural resource.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
incerely,
