Note the location of Highway 125 as identified in the first aerial photograph. The Town of Williamston is seen in the lower left corner of the aerial photograph. It is clear that the 709 acres of the proposed mine is outside of the flood zone. Map C2 of 14 Mine Site Layout Plan shows three pits. From that map, it would appear that the proposed mine IS NOT in the floodplain. All outside the flood zone.
