To whom it may concern:
The proposal for the mine is very detailed and provides a plan to limit environmental harm. The long term benefits
of gathering the lithium and providing it to EV manufacturers will impress venthe quality of living for the world as a
whole.
As a degreed engineer, I can say that as long as safety measures are held in place and parties are held accountable
that there is no reason why this mining opportunity should not yield positive results for local communities. It will
create jobs, and in the bigger picture bring some critical supply chain infrastructure to America when it comes to
EVs and other consumer products. There is a demand that needs to be fulfilled, if its done by the United States it
will be the best for all of us.
With any major project there is requirements and needs for rezoning land. Piedmont Lithium has prepared necessary
planning by more than adequate safety and health standards. Technology has evolved a lot in mining from 100 years
ago. We should expect to see great results if this opportunity materializes.
