I urge you to please not allow Piedmont Lithium to mine in Gaston County. I live within 1500 feet of the proposed
mining licarion. I have spoken to Patrick on a couple different occasions and I keep hearing different answers
regarding our concerns on the affect of our quality of life (air,water,noise).
I understand the opportunities and money this could provide, but at what cost? Please speak to those that live
around the mine in Kings Mountain, they can provide a more realistic view of what to expect.
My family moved here when I was 17 years old and now my children and grandchildren live on either side of me. I
am very concerned in what this will do to our water quality and supply as well as the noise, that I promise we will
here. My mother lives with us and she has cancer, what affect will this have on her health?
I know people have sold and may be happy as they can purchase somewhere else but what about those that are left
here and have to deal with this every day of our lives.
What if this was your neighborhood they were proposing to destroy?
