Please see the attached pdf version of my comments, the same comments that I also submitted via the Umstead
Coalition's action page. This version should potentially be easier to read.
Thank you for living up to the standards set by your predecessors, and denying the permit to Wake Stone. So many of
the 7 grounds for denial are clearly met by this proposal that there is simply no way of ethically justifying approving the
92-10 permit modification under NC law. As you saw during the two public hearings, the public in the Triangle is awake
and watching this issue despite the pandemic, and I hope you will serve the public's interest (and not the Bratton's
interest) on this important matter.
