Any mining since that date? ® Yes ❑ No If yes, cite evidence of such mining activity: They have mined from the back going north towards the ditch in the middle of the property, now they are moving west. 15. Was mine operating at time of inspection? ® Yes ❑ No If yes, explain: The contracting crew were starting to pile up earth towards the west corner of the site. 16. Is the mine in compliance with the Operating Conditions of the Permit? U Yes IZI No U N/A If no, explain: They were using a dewatering system that was not on the mine map and had not yet been approved. A large sediment trap had been built since the previous inspection with a new pum //pipe configuration and a portable generator. 17. IXI None observed If B or C, is there potential for offsite damage? ® Yes ❑ No Explain: They have a small check dam with simple rip rap tryin to and emergency overflow, if it fails it will run straight into the blue line stream. The rock check dam is right on the 50 ft border of the buffer. 19. Corrective measures needed and/or taken: Modify the permit to allow these activities before permit transfer, or other measures as directed by Raleigh. 20. Other recommendations and comments: They need to mark their digging boundary as outlined in their permit, no markers were noticed during inspection, but they were at least stayingon n the property. 21.
