Development and Operation Plan
MINING PROGRAM
Gravel Construction Entrance will be established as shown, utilizing existing haul road.
Silt fence will be installed 50 feet from all wetlands. A perimeter, berm will be established
inside of the silt fence along the perimeter.of the Mining Area. Excavation will begin in
"Initial Mining Area" adjacent to the Haul Road . This initial excavation will serve as
sediment and erosion control for establishment of the remainder of the Mining Area. All
stormwater runoff and excess groundwater from all disturbed areas will be directed into
this excavation and retained without discharge. When water within the "Initial Mining Area
is clear, it will be pumped as necessary into the existing pond ([revious[y mined area). As
that pond fills, overflow will be discharged at "discharge point",. which was the discharge
point of the previous mining operation.
Reclamation Plan
All mining areas on this site will be left as a lake. As the excavation reaches the final
