Ok, Please find attached the email correspondence with Ron Hudson, District
Ranger of Croatan National Forest, regarding the Red Cockaded Woodpecker. They
looked at the Carteret Dirt Pit site at the same time they reviewed the Roberts Road
site. We have incorporated the buffers he recommended. I mailed you the response
to the Roberts Road ADI today, and it has this same email included.
Also find enclosed the wetlands report by John Roberts for Carteret Dirt Pit, which
includes his email correspondence with the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Adam;
As you probably know, I am working with Sunland Sand and Gravel on permitting
their Carteret Dirt Pit in Carteret County. Anticipating similar questions as we had in
the review of the Roberts Road application, we have had the US Army Corps review
and approve the wetlands, and had the Red Cockaded Woodpecker situation
addressed by the Croatan Nat Forest. I have that documentation now. Do you want
me to go ahead and send it to you, or would you prefer I wait till your review is
complete and you request it by letter?
