I would like to express my opposition to the issuance of a mining permit for the
property located on Hoods Creek Road in Caldwell County for many reasons. I would
like the opportunity to voice my concerns in a public hearing.
Thank you,
Sharon Bryant

We received a letter from Hood Creek Soils Company of their intention to apply for a mining
permit. I called your office this morning to ask about the permit process and requested a
call back. The letter gives 1612 Mail Service Center, Raleigh as the address. Is there an
email address that citizens may use to file their comments? The citizens would know that
your department had received their comments in the time constraints allowed and not
wonder if the letters had been lost in the mail.
Thank you for your time.
