How deep will the sand mines be? 2. To dig, they will have to pump ground water, where are they pumping to, does all water remain with in the 139.8 acre property? 3. How will the pumping impact our water table, aquifer? Our well is only about 90 feet deep, we need it, already have trouble during dry periods to get water. 4. What about the County well In # 13 on the map, what is impact? 5. How long do they plan to dig, mine sand? 6. Who are they selling the sand to? 7. How many CY of sand is planned to be excavated, exported? 8. How will traffic control be managed? This would be a LOT of trucks on HWY 211. 9. What about the'park'? Who will own it, what type of `park', will it be public access, who maintains it? Will RV's, tents, camping, etc. be allowed? 10. How will this mine impact the HWY 2114 lane widening project? 11. During Hurricane Floyd, this property was under 3-4 feet of water but HWY 211 did not flood over. 12. How will the pond banks/slopes be stabilized? 13.
