Herewith are duplicate printed copies and a USB flash drive containing Adobe
PDF versions of supplemental information pertinent to our pending Mining Permit
Modification Application for expansion of the Triangle Quarry onto the lease held
RDUAA Odd Fellows tract. Specifically, this data submittal provides Wake Stone
Corporation's responses to Question 20 of your "ADI" letter of July 23, 2020. These
revised plans have been prepared after an August 24, 2020 site meeting and consultation
with the Raleigh Regional Office staff during which we obtained clarification on the plan
revisions being requested.
Due to greater than 60-day delay occurring prior to Wake Stone Corporation
obtaining NCDEMLR approval of the required noise study protocol, it appears unlikely
we will be able to provide a response to Question 13 from the July 23, 2020 "ADI" letter
prior to the expiration of the 180-day period provided pursuant to 15A NCAC 513 .0113.
We respectfully request that the period provided for supplemental data submittal be
extended by a minimum of 60 days to provide ample time for our noise consultant (WSP)
to complete compilation and analysis of the noise data collected and prepare their
summary report for submittal to the NCDEMLR. We further request written confirmation

of Director Wrenn's approval of this requested 60-day extension pursuant to 15A NCAC
5B .0113.
In completing the accompanying revised E&SC and Site Plans, we believe we
have adequately addressed the issues raised by Question 20 of the July 23, 2020 ADI
letter. We further believe the forthcoming noise study report will adequately address
potential noise impacts from the proposed quarry expansion. Should you require
additional information during your review of these supplemental application materials,
please do not hesitate to contact us via phone or email.
Sincerely,
Wake Stone Corporation
Davi . Lee
Head Geologist/Environmental Supervisor
