Temporary diversion ditches are shown to divert any excess water shed toward the basin. The temporary diversion ditches will be adjusted as needed dinning the excavation operation. Topsoil will be stripped and stockpiled along with undercut/waste soil hauled from the jobsite around the perimeter of the pit boundary, shaped to form earthen berms, and seeded directly after construction to contain an, runoff. Area 1 will be excavated completely before excavation in Area 2 straits. As excavation in Area 2 starttf., temporary diversion ditches will divert shed water to Area 1, where it will act as a sed"cut basin until excavation comme,>r es, There is 1,092 LF of silt fence shown along the northern side of the pit boundary along with silt fence outlets. There will be a construction entrance (50'x401) to separate the proposed haul road from the end of the :Mate maintained road. Diversion ditches with silt check dams along the 950' road entering the pit will divert water into the pi! area, I All erosion c:nanta"ol rrneasun`vs will be puil'u "nut d in acczrdannce with the details illztst-ruted, The slope on the proposed excavation area will be equal to a 3:1 on the boundaries of the pit. This slope shall be maintained during construction and post construction of the pit. Reference is made to the barrow pit cross seetion illustrated above. The existing structure located +/- 260' from the Southwestern corner of the pit is owned by the landowner of the pit and will not be affected by mining operations. The pond area shown on the site plaza will be dug out after all excavation has been completed at the request of the owner. Material from this excavation will be placed in the n.ew pit area.
