The property is owned by Anita M. Scott and being leased to Tim Morton Trucking, LLC for mining purposes. This property was previously used as a NCDOT Borrow Pit permitted by Balfour Beatty Infrastructure, Inc. (BBI) from 2017 through early 2020. Following completion of NCDOT borrow activities, the disturbed land was seeded and as -built topography generated (via drone) by BBI. This as -built information was utilized by Wasiela Consulting PLLC for purposes of developing a Mine Permit Plan set. We also utilized previous NCDOT permitting wetland delineations as well as cultural/historic preservation documentation. Previously completed studies are included in this submittal for reference. Notifications have been submitted to Jones County Manager (Frankie Howard) as well as landowners within 1,000 feet of the proposed mine boundary via certified mail. A figure illustrating location of landowners is included with this submittal. A listing of attachments included in this Permit Application Submittal include: • Completed/signed Mining Permit Application • Executed Lease Agreement between Anita M.
