The proposed new quarry will damage one of the Triangle's most beloved public assets. In
addition, I know personally how much damage a stone quarry does to the community, as I
have been a homeowner near North Harrison in Cary (Beechtree neighborhood) for well over
20 years, and have had to put up with the noisy and dangerous dump trucks from the current
quarry for a long time. Please oppose the new quarry, and find a more suitable use for the
land.
