Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to relam@nc.gov Michael Regan, Secretary DEQ, I request that DEQ deny Wake Stone Corp's application for a new rock mine (Permit 92-10) due to the negative impacts on Umstead State Park, Crabtree Creek, the East Coast Greenway, recreation in the Old Reedy Creek Corridor and the three adjacent homeowners To the elected officials, please see my message to the DEQ as an indication of my opposition against the quarry, and please send a message to the DEQ making your opposition against the quarry known, as well. The operation of a new quarry will have unduly adverse effects on potable groundwater supplies, wildlife, or fresh water, estuarine, or marine fisheries. The current quarry is bad enough, creating dust and noise, and ruining the enjoyment of Umstead Park! NANCY BLACKWELL nblackwe112000@yahoo.com 1130 STURDIVANT DRIVE CARY, North Carolina 27511 1
