Hello,
I'm writing to ask that you reject Wake Stone Corp's mining permit on the Odd Fellows Tract.
don't think it's safe to have a mine right by Umstead State Park, Lake Crabtree Park, and for
all those who visit the parks. In listening to the public hearing I was impressed with the
speakers' expertise on the environmental risks and the arguments made. I think they proved
their points and made the case for denying the permit. Please do not allow this quarry. Thank
you.
