Response to November 14, 2024, Request for Additional Information
Dear Mr. Parr:
We have reviewed the November 14th request for additional information and have provided the
following response.
1. The locations of sediment basins/traps are shown on the attached mine map. The dimensions
and calculations for each basin/trap are attached as well.
2. Specific maintenance requirements for sediment and erosion control structures have been added
to the Mine Map detail sheet.
3. Buffers have been clarified on the Mine Map. The original existing tree line (as previously
approved and shown on the mine map as "EXISTING TREELINE") has been maintained as
undisturbed buffer around the pit and plant area. A 50ft unexcavated buffer remains outside of
this original tree line. Potential wetlands exist within the area labeled as"POTENTIAL WETLANDS/
UNDISTURBED BUFFER". There are currently no plans to impact wetlands or the undisturbed
buffer.
