Dear Mr. Parr:
This letter is in response to the additional information request letter received from your office
dated October 25, 2024 for the Mallard Creek Quarry mining permit#06-09 modification. This following
information has been provided in response to the request:
1. Please clarify the location of relocated building and provide erosion and sediment control
measures.
o The proposed building will be constructed on the existing,former asphalt plant site.
This site is completely developed and stabilized and will not require any additional
grading.
o An additional note has been placed on the map to help clarify this area.
2. Please clarify that three settling cells can handle the load of the previous four cells.
o This site only utilizes one settling cell at a time so the remaining cells will more than
provide the necessary requirements for this site.
