Good morning Corey. Thank you for checking in.
NCWRC does not have comment on this permit application. The permitted and excavation areas are
mostly within a cleared agricultural field and there are no wetlands or water courses that should be
significantly impacted. Our standard recommendation for planting could be requested, but I don't
usually submit that when I have no comment. Perhaps I should make a general "no comment but
keep this in mind letter" for applications so you know when there is nothing above standard
recommendations.
Judy and I worked on the seeding recommendations below for the east. There is a western version
as well. This was one of the latter things we did before she left DEMLR. The mixes give a better
wildlife benefit.

Hi Maria,
We're about to take an action on this permit and wanted to make sure we had input from the WRC
regarding potential impacts to local wildlife. If there is anything else I can provide then please let me
know.
Thanks!
Corey
