HomeMy WebLinkAbout20240201_WRC From: Dunn, Maria T. To: Clayton,Corey Subject: RE: Permit#54-71 -Creech Pit-New-Lenoir County Date: Thursday, February 1,2024 7:08:32 AM Good morning Corey. Thank you for checking in. NCWRC does not have comment on this permit application. The permitted and excavation areas are mostly within a cleared agricultural field and there are no wetlands or water courses that should be significantly impacted. Our standard recommendation for planting could be requested, but I don't usually submit that when I have no comment. Perhaps I should make a general "no comment but keep this in mind letter" for applications so you know when there is nothing above standard recommendations. Judy and I worked on the seeding recommendations below for the east. There is a western version as well. This was one of the latter things we did before she left DEMLR. The mixes give a better wildlife benefit. Permanent Seeding_Specifications Dates: Species Rate.
