A release of the above referenced mining permit was requested on August 21, 2023. An inspection was made of
the above mine on September 22,2023,in accordance with G.S. §74-56 of the Mining Act of 1971.
The mine was found to be satisfactorily reclaimed. Therefore, your company is released from further reclamation
responsibility for this site with respect to the Mining Act of 1971.
During a review of your company's reclamation bond file, it was determined that your company may be over
bonded. Your company's bond requirement is $19,600.00 and summarized in the table below. Your company
currently has a $66,000.00 blanket surety bond. As such, you may wish to reduce this surety bond to the new
required amount of$19,600.00.
