RRO staff(thanks Sharan) visited the subject mine on 06/04/2024. See attached Inspection Report
and Photo Log. Short summary: our recommendation is that the partial release request be denied
due to the mine operator not having met multiple Reclamation Conditions as referenced in the
attached inspection report. Please note that the southernmost "reclaimed pond" shown on the
Reclamation Map dated 08-22-2023 has never been excavated to our knowledge and remains an
agricultural field. This condition is reflected accurately on the map dated 05-08-2024 submitted with
the partial release request. Once the work has been done to meet the Reclamation Conditions we
can take another look at it.
