Water Supply Restoration Plan(Example)
If the proposed Mine Name located in xxx, NC, adversely impacts water resources within the
surrounding area due to pumping,dewatering, or other mine activities, Mine Owner agrees to
notify NC DEQ DEMLR within 24 hours, and take action immediately to restore water supply by
doing one or more of the following until the issue has been resolved:
1) Lower pump and/or increase drop pipe length in well(s).
2) Replace pump(s) with one that can draw from deeper depth(s).
3) Replace well(s) with deeper and/or larger diameter wells.
4) Connect and pay initial hook-up fee(s) for county or other public water supply if the
owner(s) desire.
5) Perform other work to correct impact.
