Dear Ms. Hall,
It is our understanding that the current mine permittee has requested release of the mining
permit for the Oak Harbour Site (BRUNS-2022-083). We understand that the mine release form and
associated documentation have been submitted to NCDEQ and are pending acceptance. We intend to
develop the property for residential use and do not plan to mine the property. We agree to provide
final stabilization of the property as required by our erosion control permit and accept financial
responsibility for the required stabilization.
