Dear Mr. Parr,
The following requests are made on behalf of our client, Oak Harbour, LLC for the Riverlake
Subdivision.
This is to serve as a formal release request of the Lakes of Lockwood II Mine (10-62). The
property has been sold by the original mine permittee. The current owner has no interest in any
form of mining activity.
Project Narrative:
The intent of Oak Harbour, LLC is to develop the property as a single-family subdivision. The
original pit area will be converted into a stormwater treatment pond. Some areas of the original
mining pit banks will be reshaped to soften slopes for construction of homes around the lake
area. An erosion control permit is currently under review (BRUNS-2022-083). All disturbed
areas will be stabilized in accordance with this forth coming erosion control permit. All erosion
and sedimentation rules will be adhered to during the construction of this project.
