Subject: Modification, Bent River Mine, Permit# 08-22
Dear Mr. Parr;
I am writing in response to your May 28, 2021 letter to Commercial Ready Mix Products
requesting additional information for your review of the above referenced permit modification.
The Pumping O&M Plan submitted in response to your previous letter primarily addressed the
impact to Mining Area "A", because that is the current mining area. It is anticipated that it will be
several years before mining will begin in Mining areas B&C. We hereby request that the
modification request be approved specifically for Mining Area A only. We agree the existing
restriction on dewatering will remain in place for Mining Areas B&C. We will apply for an
additional modification if and when any dewatering or pumping is needed in areas B&C. This
will allow for adequate time to further study potential impacts in these areas.
