The operation is referred to as the Alvin Road Mine, based on ownership preference, and includes a total permit area of 41.80 acres. I am working on an application for one mining site that is requesting an NCG02 permit to de-water the excavation,and I am notifying you regarding the POM plan and State Stormwater Permit as required In the NCG02 application. Location information is as follows: • New mining permit, application to be submitted shortly,Alvin Road Mine(14.69-acre excavation), Grimesland, NC, Pitt County—New permit with dewatering, POM plan will be submitted with NCG02 application,there are no plans for any impervious surfaces on the property beyond that of a temporary portable office(10'x 24% 1 do not believe a State Stormwater Permit will be required.
