Dear Mr. Parr,
Heidelberg Materials requests the release of 0.2 acres of mine permitted property located at our
northern property boundary along Rex Road.This area is needed by Wake County Board of
Education for road widening associated with the new school construction.This area is within the
undisturbed buffer and has not been impacted by mining activities.Therefore, no reclamation has
been completed.
The acreage falls under the "Other: Buffers, Wetland,etc"category classification and its release
would reduce the "Total Permitted"acreage from 394.22 to 394.02.
