Subject: Quinton Bunch Mine-ADI Request
Date: Friday,February 9,2024 10:37:28 AM
Mr. Elliot,
We are reviewing the application submitted for the Quinton Bunch Mine in Chowan County and are
preparing an additional information request for the mine. This would include the following requests:
1. Please change the county name on mine maps to Chowan County as the mine is entirely
located within the Chowan County borders.
2. Imagery shows a small pond North of the proposed sediment pond, potentially inside the
undisturbed buffer. If this body of water exists currently, please add it to the mine maps. If
the pond is no longer there, please confirm that as well.
If you can resubmit these corrected maps (as a reply to this email is fine) by midweek next week, we
can forgo a formal ADI request and keep a quicker timeline. If you have any questions, feel free to
reach out to me.
Thanks,
Corey Clayton
