Dear Mr. Miller:
This letter is in response to your email sent on February 26,2024,where you clarified your mine type on the cover
letter of your permit should read"Clay Mine"instead of"Sand Mine". The bond calculation was in fact calculated
for a Clay Mine and the type of mine on the cover of the permit was listed as"Sand Mine"in error. Please see the
enclosed corrected cover page for your permit.
Please attach this letter and the corrected cover page your existing mining permit for future reference. The mine
name and permit number on the permit document shall remain the same.
The issuance of a mining permit and/or any modification to it does not supersede local zoning regulations. The
responsibility of compliance with any applicable zoning regulations lies with you.
As a reminder,your permitted acreage at this site is 8 1.10 acres and the amount of land you are approved to disturb
is 41.63 acres.
