One existing well was found within 500' of the proposed excavation limits of the
proposed Kennedy Sand Mine.
The existing well information is as follows:

The well depth is estimated to be 20' deep.
If the proposed Kennedy Sand Mine located in Brunswick County, NC, adversely
impacts water resources within the surrounding area due to pumping, dewatering, or
other mine activities, Kennedy Family Properties, LLC agrees to notify NC DEQ DEMLR
withing 24 hours, and take action immediately to restore water supply by one or more of
the following until the issue has been resolved:
1. Lower pump and/or increase drop pipe length in well(s).
2. Replace pump(s) with one that can draw from deeper depth.
3. Replace well(s) with deeper and/or larger diameter wells.
4. Connect and pay initial hook-up fee(s) for County or other public water supply if
the owner(s) desire.
5. Perform other work necessary to correct impact.
