Dear Mr. Parr,
We are responding in red to your review letter dated December 15, 2023, as follows:
1. We have received the amended application and mine maps that list Longleaf Pine
Holdings, LLC c/o Equitas Law Partners LLP as the applicant. Please provide proof that Dave
Tripp is a company officer of Longleaf Pine Holdings, LLC, or that he has signatory authority to
sign on behalf of Longleaf Pine Holdings, LLC. The Client's attorney will provide the requested
company information for LongLeaf Pine Holdings, LLC.
2. Please provide documentation for the members of Longleaf Pine Holdings, LLC so that
the applicant listed in the application may be evaluated as required in N.C.G.S. §74-51 (d)(7)
The Client's attorney will provide the requested company information for LongLeaf Pine
Holdings, LLC.
3. Please clearly identify and label on the mine maps all owners of record to lands adjoining
the permit boundary. The property owners adjoining the Longleaf Pine, LLC parcel are not
labeled and proof of notice has not been provided. Please provide notice as required in NCGS
§74-50(b1). NCGS §74-50(b)(1) defines "Land adjoining" as any parcel or tract of land that is
not owned in whole or in part by, or that is not under the control of, the applicant or operator or
any lessor, affiliate, parent, or subsidiary of the applicant or operator and that is contiguous to
either:
a. Any parcel or tract that includes the permitted area.

b. Any parcels or tracts of land that are owned in whole or in part by or under the control of
the applicant or operator or any lessor, affiliate, parent, or subsidiary of the applicant or operator
and that, when combined, are contiguous to the permitted area. We have reviewed the overall
mine map and have added an additional partial (#54). The requested proof of notice is provided
as detail and noted.
