Subject: Quinton Bunch Mine-Permit Application
Dear Mr. Parr:
On behalf of Mr. Quinton I. Bunch, Elliott Consulting is requesting review of an Application for a Mining
Permit for a new mine operation slated for development in Township 3, Upper, in Chowan County, North
Carolina. The operation is referred to as the Quinton Bunch Mine based on family ownership of the property
and includes a total permit area of 8.77 acres.
The following documents are enclosed to support the Application (6 copies of each):
• Mining Permit Application
• $3,750 permit Processing Fee
• Adjoinder Notification Map
• USGS Quad Site Map
• GPS Coordinate Site Map
• Copy of Application for NCG020000 coverage for proposed dewatering activity
• Copy of NCDEQ DWR Registration Application for Water Usage
