Dear Mr. Parr:
This letter is requesting the modification of the mine permit #60-02 for the Charlotte Quarry
located at 4551 Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte, NC. This proposed modification includes the following
modification:
• The modification of — 8 acres on the western side of the permitted acreage to allow for
overburden berm expansion, including the required sediment and erosion control measures.
• The sediment and erosion control designs have been provided for the expansion areas.
