Based on these maps,portions of your property do fall within a flood zone(shown in blue on the attachments).That would mean any development in the blue areas would require a floodplain development permit. Depending on the use of the structure,it may need to be elevated. Electrical and mechanical equipment in flood zones may also need to be elevated. As for my 400 acre farming operation,at 904 Saps Rd in Hampstead,is any of my farm considered to be in regulated flood zones, and if so,are there any requirements on my part for monitoring or reporting?
