Attached are the calculations for the sizing of the seven (7) sediment basins. The basin
surface area was based on 10-year rain frequency, although due to the relatively flat
topography, the water surface area will be larger than the basin design. The outlet
structure design was based on the 25-year rain frequency. As mining progresses it is
likely that no stormwater discharges will occur.
Approximately 0.1 cubic yards if concrete will be need for anchoring the riser pipe.
