; lan6g rE
This modification adds 150 acres to the permitted area, with 54 acres of this new area to be
•. j ` s i ` , ; ,1. I i' disturbed by mining. The new area is adjacent to the existing mine, connected by a 50 foot
- wide access. The mined sand and gravel will be hauled to the existing processing plant. All
L q T Ip.J MRP o l ( disturbed areas are surrounded by a perimeter berm, which prevents any offsite sedimentation.
UPS ISb WAnI QvAn. \ e L!I tkJ\1G I I, This mine does not normally discharge any stomruater or groundwater. Any dewatering of the
new mining area will be pumped into the existing mine, which allows excess water to be
2 A 2 I infiltrated into the soil without any discharge. Wrth over 8 feet of freeboard in the previously
4I 2 ' M(rJ1tJG mined areas (ponds), it is highly unlikely that there will ever be any discharge. Upon completion
vd"tCLaAt \ m I Act4 731 of mining, all excavations will be reclaimed as a pond. Any disturbed areas above water table
1 4/ will be graded and deeded according to approved revegetation schedule.
