Dear Adam,
Please let this serve as confirmation of our actions for our Notice of Violation of Mining Permit at
No. 61-19. We have been in touch via email communication as well but want to formally send
you this as well.
1.) Immediately cease further use of explosives at the Steel Gray Mine
a. Completed
2.) Complete Blast Investigation Report prepared by 3rd party.
a. In progress by Arcadis, Chris Peters. This will be complete by October V
3.) Cease activity outside of permitted boundary areas
a. Completed
4.) Updated Mining Permit Modification &Transfer
a. In progress. Arcadis, Chris Peters is looking to have submitted by October 15`h.
In addition we have:
1.) Reviewed our vendor blasting relationship with Caldwell Drilling. We have reviewed 2
additional contactors that we are hoping to obtain quotes from.
2.) Reviewed our internal procedures for vendor blasting management. We must inspect
and observe our blasting contractors to ensure that they follow all permitted blasting
conditions on a regular basis.
3.) We have been in regular communication with Merle (Tom)Andrews of Blue Ridge
Mountain Quarries. We have been operating under the assumption that all permits had
been transferred to Kenneth Pearson of Blue Ridge Mountain Stone. We wish to have
the permits transferred to Buechel Stone with the cooperation of Mr.Andrews.
We look forward to resolving this issue.
Thank you, RECEIVE®
