Subject: Mining Permit#47-16, 401 Sand Company, A& H Mine
Dear Ms. Wehner;
On behalf of 401 Sand Company, please find enclosed the "Release Request Form"for
partial release of the 2 acres comprising the LCID Landfill located at the A& H Mine, as
per our discussions via email (March 18). 1 have also included a partial site map
showing the surveyed 2 acres and the existing sediment and erosion control basin. As
we discussed, since this area already has a functioning and previously approved
sediment and erosion control plan, it is shown as-built.
Also, as we discussed, this will be part of a substantial modification request in the next
couple of weeks. As I mentioned, Mr. Lindsay has purchased 100+ acres adjacent to
the existing mine property. Since this is such a significant modification, I wanted to have
all new and accurate property and topographic data for the entire site. A surveyor/
engineer is working on preparing the site maps for the modification, and I hope to have it
ready to submit by the end of April
