RE: Hendersonville Quarry Permit No. 45-01
Temporary Ready Mix Concrete Tenant Site
Dear Mr. Parr,
As requested, Vulcan's June 15, 2020 Mine Permit Modification Approval, included updating
existing sedimentation and erosion control measures to the new design standards for the southern
portion of the quarry along Nix Rd. Our design goal was to remove soil overburden from above
the mineral deposit has been achieved and the design grades shown for the overburden storage
area have also been achieved. The completed storage area is now going to be utilized as a
temporary ready -mix concrete tenant site. This ready -mix plant will be producing concrete for
the I-26 Bridge and road improvements. Please see attached exhibit for your reference showing
the ready -mix concrete plant layout on our existing approved modification June 15, 2020
drawings.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Tony Johnson
