NOTES:
1. The contours within this map were completed under the direct
and responsible charge of Robert H. Tuck from an actual
Airborne survey made under my supervision; that the imagery
and/or original data was obtained on 06-28-21; and that this
map, including metadata, meets minimum accuracy standards
unless otherwise noted.
2. This map was prepared as an inventory of facilities of the
existing mine under Permit #86-01. Property boundary
information is not shown as it extends well outside of formal
permit area for majority of permit map.
3. The 100 year Flood Plain Information shown hereon is from
information found on the North Carolina Flood Risk Information
System, more specifically FEMA Flood Maps #3710593900J
PANEL 5939, #3710592800J PANEL 5928, #3710593800J PANEL
5938, all with an effective date of 8/18/2009.
4. The power -line easement agreement is recorded in DB 100 PG
552 and extends 34' from the center of each line of towers,
Duke Power Company shall have access to all structures at all
times according to the agreement.
5. All proposed new permit boundaries to the east of the existing
permit boundary run adjacent to the Ararat River. Limits of
Disturbance shall, at a minimum, be 100' offset from the permit
boundary or follow the boundary of the 100 year flood plain as
referenced in Note #4. At no point shall disturbance be within
100' of the Ararat River.

NOTES:
1. The areas surrounding the pit will be stabilized by
grading and appropriate seeding and planting of
trees, shrubs and grasses. A combination of
approved native and non—native species will used
as to promote growth. Seeding will be approved
prior to placement.
2. the pit will naturally fill with both ground and
storm water. Appropriate barricades, gates and
fences will be installed to limit access to potential
remaining hazards both associated with the pit and
surrounding areas.
3. All structures associated with the plants at the site
will be removed from the site. This includes all
plant equipment, plant buildings, stockpiles and
headwalls. All tunnels w,i)J be sealed o,r Inerniomed.
4. Basins, ponds and other water bodies not
associated with the pit will be either breached or
filled in with inert soils. Unless otherwise approved
by NCDEQ, no bodies of water outside of the
remaining pit lake will remain on site.
5. Post mining land use may change over the course
of mining due to conditions outside of the control
of Luck Stone. Such changes may affect
reclamation procedures. Any change will first be
submitted to NCDEQ prior to commencement.
