Adam,
I did speak with the owner of the proposed mining pit (the Money Pit). He indicated, due
to preliminary excavations he has done, he expects the water table to be somewhere
between 20 and 25 feet deep. That is why we are showing the maximum depth at 20 feet
where we should be above the water table.
Therefore, we should not need a dewatering plan. I will remove the reference to the
water table from the details on DT-01. I will also add to the legend some clarification
regarding the seeding symbol (ie, not wetlands).
I will go ahead and make these changes but will not submit revised plans or permit
application until I hear back from you regarding any other comments.
