Entrance to the mining area is an existing driveway off of SR 1004 (Tar Heel Road). This entrance is currently being used by Mr. Singletary's Landscaping business and is able to accommodate the mining business, as well. A Construction Entrance/Exit will be provided and maintained at this entrance for the life of the mine. At this time, the Owner will not apply for a dewatering permit. He does plan to go below the water table at some point during the life of the mine, however, that will be a future endeavor that will be addressed later. When that time presents itself, the mining program will be notified and proper channels will be followed to achieve that permit status. Mining notices to adjacent landowners were mailed on October 14, 2022. All return receipts have not been received yet and will be forwarded upon receipt of all.
