Dear Mr. Parr,
By this letter we are requesting the release of 2.932 acres of the above permit into a non -active status.
Attached is a revised mine map showing the location of the acreage to be released. The 2.932 acre area
includes the elimination of 0.437 acres of planned excavations, 0.122 acres of wastepiles, 0.027 acres of
sediment ponds and 0.266 acres of haulroads.
Waycaster Stone Company, Inc. has never mined this 2.932 acre area and has no intent to mine it in the
future. The area was permitted as a possible prospect area and for future use, but will now be left as is.
By this release, it is understood that this acreage of the permitted mine must be re -permitted as affected
through a mine permit modification before any mining or land disturbing activities can begin.

ponds, stockpiles, wastepiles, processing area/haul roads, mine excavation and any other major aspect of the
